Bosley Farms cultivates certified USDA Organic Produce on 23 expansive acres in Whitney, Nebraska. The farm is located in the heart of a 550 acre plantation that has been a part of our family since 1826. Our mantra is simple: grow to feed the people; plant to enrich the soil, and crop sustainably to retain our heritage as farmers. We use only the most advanced, organic methods of pest control and abatement, and take pride in the amount of work we put into maintaining our organic principles in an industry often challenged by instability.
When "War Machine" Warren Jeffers Bosley started Bosley Farms way back in 1938, with very little fanfare and even less capital, he envisioned exactly what we have today; a farming family of hard workers who pass their knowledge of cultivating the earth on from one generation to the next. An unprecedented 90% of all of our employees here at Bosly Farms have the Bosley name, or direct family members. That's keeping tradition for you!
There's something you can't deny about the earthy, out of this world taste of organic foods. Vegetables look better and cook better, fruit shines and begs to be eaten, eggs cook better and more vibrant, and meat tastes far more amazing than it would otherwise. That's why we here at Bosley Farms have a saying in our family that keeps us excited about tasting the organic food we cultivated, and about having you taste it as well. "If it ain't organic, it ain't darn good."
